Starter Kits
Availability: Sorry - Our power supply vendor is currently out of stock until May 6th (estimated). If you're in a hurry and have an alternative source for a power supply, please buy P-ROCs and PDBs individually.
Our Starter Kits offer a convenient way to get almost everything you need for you custom machine's control system, and they cost less than buying each component separately.
Take one of these kits and add the computing element of your choice (ie. Intel Atom board) and an ATX power supply (for 5V and 12V), and your control system is complete.
Because every custom machine is different, we offer a few different starter kits that cover a wide range of needs.
P2:
This is our basic kit. It can control up to 16 individual features (coils, motors, flashlamps, magnets, etc) and an 8x8 lamp/led matrix. The kit consists of:
- 1 P-ROC
- Driver Boards:
- 1 PS-4N70N24F Power Supply
- P2-16 (The PD-16 is a master combo) - $675
- P2-8x8 (The PD-M8x8 is a master combo) - $675
- P2-M (A PD-Master board is included in the kit) - $715
P3:
The P3 is a P2 kit + another PD-16 to increase the number of individually controllable features to 32.
Note - If you need to control more than 32 individual features or a matrix larger than 8x8, you can purchase one of the kits and as many additional driver boards as you require.
How to decide which master option to order:
If you want to locate your all of your PD-16 and PD-M8x8 boards more than 1ft or so away from your P-ROC, you'll need a PD-Master. Otherwise, whichever board is closest to the P-ROC should be ordered as a master combo.
